Works for me Wednesday- smoothie time!


Here's a recipe that is popular at our house:

2 and 1/2 cups milk (cow's milk, soy milk, almond milk or rice milk is fine)
1/4 cup almonds
2 bananas (frozen or fresh)
2 TBSP peanut butter
1 cup of fresh spinach or mixed greens
Honey or agave nectar to taste

Blend well and serve. Levi and Max drink it through straw sippy cups. What a great way to get the whole family to "eat" raw almonds and spinach. We love it :)
