My Trip to Austin to see Kaye and Elijah

Last week I went to Austin to meet my new little Godson, Elijah and to help my wonderful friend Kaye as she is adjusting to life as a new momma. What an honor it is to be asked to be a Godmother! Elijah and I definitely got some good bonding time and Zach is looking forward to meeting him and hanging out with "team Wibbert" in about a month, when they come to visit us. Chris and Kaye lived with us for eight month when we lived in Colorado, and taught us so much about living in community, loving well, reaching out and eating healthily. Now they are some of our very best friends and mine as well be family. They are family as far as we're concerned :) We are lucky to have such close, life-long friends to do life with, even if from afar. They are our kids" Godparents too, so if anything should ever happen to us, Max and Levi would be cared from by "Uncle Chris" and "Auntie Kaye." And although that scenario is unlikely, it is comforting to know that they would be in such loving hands if something ever happened. Zach did an amazing job with the boys while I was gone. I even came home to a clean house :) Here are some pics from the trip:
